Client Overview Our client has a strong reputation in delivering construction and engineering projects across Europe. Recognised for their focus on quality, safety, and team development, they provide engaging opportunities for engineering specialists.
Responsibilities Provide engineering leadership across assigned projects and liaise with senior management. Define and implement strategies for setting out and quality control procedures on site. Create and verify inspection and test plans, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Administer temporary works processes and coordinate lifting operations as needed. Conduct detailed as-built surveys, monitoring tolerances and addressing any design clashes. Maintain precise records, including daily logs, and encourage digital reporting systems. Handle Non-Conformance reports and ensure corrective actions are executed promptly. Prepare and review risk assessments, method statements, and excavation permits. Must-have Requirements Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification. Advanced knowledge of dimensional control and survey equipment. Proven experience in managing quality assurance within civil engineering works. Strong understanding of underground service risks and applicable safety processes. Background in temporary works control and coordination. Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Comfortable working with digital information systems such as A-Site or Viewpoint. Nice-to-have Skills Temporary Works Coordinator training. Certification as an Appointed Person for Lifting Operations, including A61 CPCS. Scaffold inspection or awareness training. Experience using planning and scheduling software. Exposure to geotechnical operations, piling and waterproofing practices.
