Do you want to participate in developing game changing technology? We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our engineering & research team in developing new and unique sensor technology. In this role, you will contribute to the design, integration, and support of sensor systems and payloads for subsea vehicles. Your focus will be on Linux-based platforms, STM32 micro controller, data acquisition software based on Python and C for real-time data acquisition workflows.

You will play a key role in ensuring reliable performance from lab to field, supporting both the development and operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain Linux-based software and C-based firmware.



• Contribute to system design for new sensors.



• Participate in the entire product development lifecycle.



• Engage in close collaboration between software and hardware.



• Assist in validating sensor performance and system reliability through lab and offshore testing.

Preferred skills

• MSc. degree or similar competence in Computer Science or another relevant field.



• 5+ years of relevant experience with software development for Linux systems.



• Strong proficiency in Python and C.



• Comfortable with debugging and troubleshooting hardware/software integration issues.



• Experience with version control (e.g., Git), or CI/CD pipelines.



• Basic knowledge of electronics and sensor interfacing.

Candidates with less experience can also apply.

• Proactive and self-driven.

• Works well in a small engineering team and enjoys collaborating on technology development.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.



• Willingness to travel occasionally for testing and offshore deployments.
