Deutsche Rentenversicherung Rheinland is a provider of statutory pension insurance in Germany with around 3,600 employees at its head office in Düsseldorf, 12 regional service centers in the administrative districts of Düsseldorf and Cologne and 5 rehabilitation clinics.

For our IT service provider Deutsche Rentenversicherung NOW IT GmbH, Deutsche Rentenversicherung Rheinland in the Infrastructure Services division for the Competence Center (KC) IT Workplace at the Düsseldorf site is looking for a

System administrator IT workstation (f/m/d)

The KC IT Workplace operates the Microsoft domain overall structure in connection with user and resource management as well as the infrastructure systems for workplace virtualization. The employees are responsible for the planning, further development, installation, configuration and monitoring of these infrastructure systems.

Their area of responsibility includes in particular

• Designing, planning and providing a harmonized overall domain structure,
• Designing, planning and deploying harmonized systems for the virtualization of the workplace,
• Creating technical solution concepts taking into account existing service level agreements,
• Participation in the development of customer offers for customer management,
• Planning scenarios for the rollout,
• Configuring, integrating, deploying, operating and further developing the systems used in the competence center and
• Collaboration and management of projects.

Your qualification:

You have a degree in computer science from a university of applied sciences (Bachelor of Science) or a comparable relevant degree.

You also have the following specialist knowledge

• Current MS server certifications and Citrix certifications or equivalent skills
• Administration of DX-Union
• Current management tools for system monitoring
• Programming languages DOS PowerShell and VBS as well as other cross-system scripting languages
• Terminal services used
• Data protection and data security regulations.

Your personality profile:

Your personal requirements include a high degree of customer and service orientation. We also expect conceptual and analytical skills and an independent way of working. Flexibility and the ability to work under pressure are just as much a part of your strengths as a high level of commitment. Continuous further training and independent familiarization with new subject areas are expected, as is a willingness to travel on business. A good command of German and English round off your profile.
