We are looking for an experienced leader with the essential skills to further improve and develop the Sustainability Reporting unit.

The Sustainability Reporting unit has 4 employees and is part of the Financial and Sustainability Reporting and GBS Finance department in Statkraft. The function shall ensure standardisation, high quality and efficient processes related to sustainability reporting in addition to supporting business areas and other support functions related to sustainability reporting.

Main responsibilities:

• Deliver high quality sustainability reporting to internal and external stakeholders
• Responsible for annual and quarterly sustainability reporting process
• Operational management of our Sustainability Reporting Systems and further develop these in collaboration with Digital Finance and IT
• Support business areas and support functions in matters related to sustainability reporting including training
• Expert function in the accounting standards (CSRD/ESRS)
• Manage group sustainability audit process
• Identify, prioritize, design, and lead initiatives and projects to improve systems, compliance, efficiency and quality of the reporting processes
• Responsible for the Sustainability Reporting network with stakeholders across the organisation
• Drive the process and change management across stakeholders

• Master degree within sustainability, finance and/or auditing
• Leadership level position preferably in a large or medium-sized international organisation with matrix organisation setup
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience from sustainability reporting (or financial reporting) or auditor with experience from assurance of sustainability statements and/or financial statements
• High technical and specialized competence on sustainability reporting is required, in particular CSRD and ESRS.
• Ability to team up with senior management - audit committee, senior management, external auditors etc.
• Experience from major change management processes is an advantage
• Fluency in English and Norwegian languages, both written and spoken
• Ability to build trust,empower, and lead an expert function team  
• Dutiful, structured and accurate
• Self-driven with a desire to develop the organization and the quality of the group’s sustainability reporting

Statkraft manages critical infrastructure and services in several countries. The applicant must be eligible for security clearance and authorization.

Location: The position will be located at our main office in Oslo and report to SVP Financial and Sustainability Reporting and GBS Finance.
