What you'll do as a Software Engineer with Oda ‍

As a Software Engineer you will be a part of a cross-functional team which closely aligns to bring Oda’s value to our customers. We use data to help solve problems across the entire customer experience, from before people even visit our website or app, to their 100th delivery at their doorstep. You will contribute to the planning, design and implementation of excellent, reliable and maintainable software across apps, web and backend, and be a part of building solutions that integrate with and leverage, world-class third-party tooling. You will contribute to architecture and technology choices that ensure reliability, scalability and security without unnecessary complexity, partake in code reviews, technical discussion and whiteboard sessions, and contribute to a great DevSecOps culture. ♾️ Our practice is that we want to get to know you before we can fully understand which team will fit you the best. Have probably worked professionally as a Software Engineer previously, but we do not require higher education. We seek passionate people, who enjoy solving complex challenges. You are committed to writing clean, scalable and high-quality code that is easy to maintain, and without unnecessary complexity. As this organisational domain is integral in enabling scalability and consistent growth within our new markets, we need you on board who are interested in making a business impact, either through your entrepreneurial spirit, or product-oriented mindset. You actively strive to learn new things and share this knowledge with those around you. We are a team of teams, and we win together! We expect you to be fluent in English and want to live in Oslo or Stockholm. The following will probably be useful

• Experience in web development, we’re flexible around which tech stack you’ve worked with before but ours is: Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Javascript (Next.js & React), HTML/CSS, Linux
• Have an entrepreneurial spirit and an interest in making a visible business impact.
• Are self-driven and can take ownership of tasks from A to Z
