Job Title: HL7 Java Programmer

Location : Remote

We are seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• Develop deploy and maintain HL7 interfaces for healthcare software applications.
• Create and refine Javabased solutions to efficiently process HL7 messages.
• Collaborate closely with diverse teams including software developers analysts and healthcare professionals to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to HL7 interfaces and message processing.
• Conduct thorough code reviews testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and quality of healthcare software applications.
• Stay updated with the latest industry standards and best practices concerning HL7 and healthcare interoperability.
• Document technical specifications system configurations and integration processes related to HL7.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Proficiency in Java programming language and relevant frameworks (e.g. Spring Hibernate).
• Experience working with healthcare information systems like Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Health Information Exchanges (HIE).
• Solid understanding of HL7 message structures including HL7 v2.x and HL7 FHIR.
• Knowledgeable about healthcare data exchange protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP XML JSON and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with healthcare privacy and security regulations including HIPAA.
• Strong problemsolving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams.
