Job Description - Networking Sales Expert

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Networking Sales Expert, you will be instrumental in driving the success of the Client's IT components and systems sales division, with a particular emphasis on Networking equipment from leading brands such as Cisco, HPE, Aruba, and Juniper. Your role will involve engaging with customers directly through phone, email, and digital platforms to foster relationships and close sales.

ROLE HIGHLIGHTS

  • Cultivate a loyal customer base by proactively engaging existing customers, managing leads, and leveraging opportunities.
  • Achieve sales targets and gross margin goals with a keen focus on Networking equipment sales and other Essential Service Support Network (ESSN) products as needed.
  • Maintain and update customer profiles and interactions in our CRM system to enhance relationship management.
  • Initiate and manage targeted marketing campaigns to your customer base.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of product specifications, market pricing, and sales strategies to offer competitive solutions.
  • Conduct transactions with the utmost integrity, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to ethical standards.
  • Assist the Pricing team with market data and insight on pricing and trends.
  • Comply with all company policies including those related to information quality, health and safety, and security.
  • Domestic and/or international travel will be required.

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • A strong understanding and knowledge of technology products, especially in the Networking domain.
  • Proven track record of sales goal achievement in a self-starting environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Networking product pricing, purchasing, and sales.
  • Extensive network within the domestic and international trading community.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and adaptable to changing technology and priorities.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in Networking products.
