What does the engineering department do?

• Our main objective is developing Argus, our in-house built platform for detecting and analysing security attacks. With more than 400 servers across the globe, we process over 55 billion security events daily.


• The engineering department covers a wide range of technology stacks and skills:




• React/Typescript


• Java, Hibernate, Cassandra, OpenSearch, Kafka, Hazelcast


• Python


• UX design


• Development & Operations (DEVOPS)




• Handle inquiries from our customers and security analysts, and gain insight and data into how our users actually use our systems.


• In our department you will be given trust and responsibility, and your voice will be heard in every decision made.


• Our summer projects are never just busy-work; all projects result in a product that is shipped to production or is used as a basis for providing value for our customers and security analysts.

Who are we looking for?

• You like to familiarise yourself with technical issues, and find solutions to how you can solve these problems


• You are studying technology, and are in your third or fourth year of study


• You have good academic results


• You communicate well in both Norwegian and English


• You have good technical knowledge of programming


• You prioritise quality, and code that is testable and maintainable


• You have worked with version control software such as Git


• You have some experience in working with one or more code
  
  frameworks such as Flask, React, Vue, Spring, Hibernate, etc.

Practical information

• Your place of work will be at our headquarters located in central Oslo. 


• The internship lasts for nine weeks and is carried out by agreement in the period June-August, with three weeks of summer vacation included. 


• Interviews will be conducted in Oslo or over video during September/October.
