Operations Engineer Intern Internship Summer 2026

We’re looking for talented students who share our passion for software and video conferencing to join our operations team next summer (2026).

Over 8 weeks, from June 15th to August 7th, 2026, you’ll get to work on the actual Pexip service product with the rest of the operations team and impact thousands of our users. If you enjoy building and deploying applications that improve observability and operability for large-scale distributed cloud systems, we’d love to hear from you!

Candidate Qualifications

• Proficiency in, at least, one programming language such as Python or Go.


• Some experience with Linux administration and scripting.


• Github repo or something along those lines - we would love to see some of your existing code


• Started your master’s degree spring or fall 2025.

Not required but definite bonuses

• Experience with components of container orchestration platforms (like docker and kubernetes)


• Experience with infrastructure automation (CloudFormation, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, and similar) and leveraging configuration management tools (Chef, Ansible, and similar)


• Experience with CI/CD and version control.


• Understanding of network programming and network-oriented design patterns
