Software Engineers Internship Summer 2026

We’re looking for talented students who share our passion for software and video conferencing to join our Engineering team next summer (2026).

Over 8 weeks, from June 15th to August 7th, 2026, you’ll get to work closely on the actual Pexip product with the rest of the team and impact thousands of our users. If highly scalable distributed cloud systems are your idea of fun, we would love to hear about you!

Candidate Qualifications

• Proficiency in, at least, one programming language such as C, C#, C++, Python, or Go


• Github repo or something along those lines - we would love to see some of your existing code


• Started your master’s degree spring or fall 2025

Not required but definite bonuses

• Understanding of network programming and network-oriented design patterns


• Experience in profiling and optimising backend code


• Understanding of common performance patterns and anti-patterns in distributed systems


• Experience with microservice design concepts and container orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS, and similar)


• Experience with infrastructure automation (CloudFormation, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, and similar) and leveraging configuration management tools (Chef, Ansible, and similar)
