Hevd bakeri & pizzeria is looking for part-time waiters

Working at Hevd Bakeri & Pizzeria you can expect an international working environment where the main language is English. As a waiter in Hevd, you should enjoy working in a hectic environment and be able to handle stress well. We are looking for you who have a positive attitude, and who contribute to a good working environment. A waiter with us should be both interested in service and food, as well as like to share his knowledge with our many curious guests. We are especially looking for you positive, service-minded people that like to smile and who is not afraid to give extra attention to our guests.

Opening time:

Monday 10.30-21.00

Tuesday-Thursday 10.30-22.00

Friday-Saturday 10.30-23.00

Sunday 11.00-21.00

We are looking for :

2 part-time waiters strarting from late May (80 hours)

2 part-time waiters starting from June (40 hours)

Tasks

• go with food
• clear tables
• preparations before opening and after closing
• table service / a la carte / tidy table / covered table
• Service and guest treatment, welcome guests with a smile
• Overview and control of own station/area
• Sale of food/wine/beer/drinks
• Complaint handling
• Opening/closing of the restaurant
• cash sales
• make coffee

Personal characteristics

• Previous experience with a la carte is considered positive
• Coffee knowledge (seen as positive)
• English and Norwegian (very good English if you do not speak Norwegian or Swedish) enjoys working in a hectic work environment
• Service-oriented
• High work ethic
• Have good collaboration skills
• Smiles

We will contact potential candidates for interviews on an ongoing basis. Relevant candidates will be invited to a 3-day trial work. The trial work period will be held at Hevd.

The concept is both a hand craft bakery with its own cafe with fresh lunch meals, where at 15: 00 Hevd is taken over Pizzeria , and the busy lunch place turns into a pulsating pizzeria. Our concept is plain and tasty dishes in grounded surroundings, the main focus of the restaurant is to have the perfect Italian pizza, and multiple delights such as pasta, meat and fish dishes for the evening and to serve fresh and well-tasting lunch, in a modern and upbeat tempo restaurant/cafe.
