ONNA is a widely diverse team of creative, resilient, kind, and driven people from more than 20 different countries. We are a group of engineers, agronomists, problem solvers, saleswomen, hustlers, food lovers and tinkerers on a mission to create a new green routine. We operate an indoor farm, where we produce delicious greens in a fully controlled and vertically stacked growth environment. Our technology is climate resilient and enables us to produce superior greens – plants that have an awesome shelf life, that are cleaner, tastier, and just a little different, and locally produced 365 days. We do this because we believe that changing the foodsystem is critical to building a more sustainable future. And, because we believe that people deserve to eat delicious greens.

The new green routine is just beginning! Our first farm started operating in Moss at the end of 2021, and we plan to expand throughout the Nordics in the coming years.

Your mission

Join the ONNA team and embark on a rewarding journey either as a Plant Whisperer or as part of our packing crew, ensuring our exceptional products reach our customers with care.

Plant Whisperer Responsibilities:

• Engage in all aspects of plant care, from seeding to dispatching various leafy greens and herbs within a food-safe environment.


• Hands-on involvement in harvesting and transplanting crops.


• Adhere to defined workflows and production schedules, maintaining our high standards of quality by meeting daily volume requirements.

Packing Team Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of packing, including labeling, stacking, and shipping freshly harvested crops in our chilled packing room.


• Operate packing machines and uphold quality standards as per our product specifications.

• Follow the packing plan and "To Do List" meticulously to meet customer demands.

Expectations for Both Roles:

• Perform routine end-of-shift cleaning of the farm, equipment, and work area.


• Prioritize safety by adhering to HSE guidelines and ensuring the well-being of yourself and others.


• Maintain strict hygiene standards, including wearing provided work clothes and masks.

ABOUT YOU

You are a persistent doer who charges ahead at a high pace, but who also values quality and diligence highly. You don’t get unsettled by challenges, and you are humble enough to understand that no challenge is too big OR too small in a startup.

• You have strong attention to detail and a passion for plants


• Fluency in English and/or Norwegian


• A fast learner with ability to adapt and respond to change, and manage pressure and adversity


• Valid working permit


• You can join our rotation schedule for Saturdays and holidays (Minimum 2 Saturdays pr. month as a full-timer)
