Te Tūranga – About the role
As our Data Analyst you’ll be keeping us tuned into all the operating business insight tools, help develop our team capability with these and delivering a range of reports to support our team to develop strategic options & opportunities to improve our business performance.
You will be:
· Delivering regular performance reports and ad hoc reports for the Own Brands Team to allow us to monitor our business metrics & make commercially sound, insight driven decisions.
· Manage data integrity, flow and project activities between the current enterprise and third-party providers.
· Learning and then applying the knowledge of new software/tools (Nielsen/Dunnhumby) to create reports which help the team to make insightful decisions.
· Monitoring and analysis of international commodity pricing and exchange rates.
· Private label product monitoring (Rate of sale, distribution, cost competitiveness).
· Conduct ad hoc business analysis to promote making the best commercial decision for the business.
· Conduct competitor benchmarking to identify best practice / areas for improvement.
He kōrero mōu - About you
Our ideal Foodie is someone who has commercial experience, and comfortable using their solid technical skills to understand our business to produce complex data sets.
Being accurate in all you do and capable of speedily delivering high volumes of quality work, you will be proficient in Power BI, Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization techniques. You will need to be very comfortable using reporting tools namely: SAP, NIQ, Dunnhumby – tech savvy is what we need!
You’ll have a passion to learn and grow all while enjoy engaging with a diverse group of stakeholders to drive results and change. You’ll have a passion for FMCG and/or Retail as well as our customers and enjoy working in an ambiguous and dynamic environment. But key to it all is your natural curiosity, drive to problem solve and creativity will have you always asking “why?”
