We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our team to cover parental leave on a fixed term basis at our Feilding clinic working 40 hours per week.
Role
This role is the driving force behind our digital strategies. Reporting to our ICT Manager, you will be responsible for all our digital marketing content, including social media, app, website, email marketing, and more. You will be responsible for maintaining our websites, creating and monitoring all digital advertising and organic content, and driving monthly campaigns. You will collaborate closely with the team to create a local, friendly feel online.
This position requires an experienced individual with strong digital marketing, communication, and creative skills, as well as the ability and desire to adapt to the quick-changing marketing landscape and develop new skills as needed.
Responsibilities include:
Plan, execute, and manage all digital marketing activities, including social media, SEO, email, and paid advertising
Plan and execute a digital marketing calendar, including content and campaigns
Create graphics for email marketing, social media, website, brochures, print advertising, and more
Assist in the design, development and ongoing marketing of our companies’ app
Assist in writing and editing copy for articles that comply with SEO best practises.
Create monthly eDMs for sales, brand awareness, newsletters, and more
Create timely automated call to actions to drive sales and engagement within our e- app
Regularly analyse and report on marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic, etc) to help shape future marketing strategies
Seek new opportunities to strengthen brand awareness and build industry-related relationships within the community
Who You Are:
Ideally, we are looking for a person who has the following qualities:
A digital marketing background, ideally of at least three years
A knowledge of the pet or farm animal retail sector
A self-starter who isn’t afraid to work by themselves
Experience in managing multiple social media accounts
Knowledge of SEO trends and best practices, plus excellent copywriting skills
Experience with paid advertising on social media platforms and Google
Experience managing and maintaining Wordpress websites
Analytics and data lover who can crunch numbers to determine what’s working and what isn’t, and create plans to pivot when needed
Understanding of email marketing, including email automation and best practices
Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in design software programmes like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar.
Detail-oriented, with a strong creative side
