Fitness Instructor - Fixed Term

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Fitness Instructor to join our positive and high-performing gym team.

This is a 12-month fixed term position of 36 hours per week. Shifts are a mix of 5:15am – 1:30pm and 1:15pm – 9:15pm, Monday to Friday and predominantly at our Club in Greerton. You’ll be part of a team that values professionalism, positivity, and delivering exceptional member experiences every day. A typical day as a Clubfit Fitness Instructor would see you take full responsibility for the gym floor. Here you will meet and greet new customers perform fitness assessments, develop individualised programmes for our members and deliver all round great customer service and support.  

In order to be considered for this role we need someone able to demonstrate previous experience in the above responsibilities, and to have done so in a way that shows excellence in customer service, listening skills, and using initiative. Assisting with the retention of current members and attracting new members are also important elements of this role, and  You must hold a minimum Level 4 Certificate in Fitness (NZQA recognised). A Level 6 Diploma in Sport, Exercise, or a related discipline would be advantageous.
