Health & Safety Systems Coordinator

• 3 – 6 month fixed term agreement

Are you passionate about Health & Safety with a talent for organization and a keen eye for data accuracy? 

This is an opportunity to come in and help us reset our Health & Safety systems. Imagine a system overhaul, data migration, updating of documentation and data cleansing. 

The Health & Safety Systems Coordinator is responsible for maintaining, improving and governing Comvita’s Health & Safety Management System.  This role ensures our systems are accurate, reliable and delivering meaningful insights that support operational decision-making, compliance, and worker wellbeing across the business. We are looking for someone who is confident to get stuck in and help streamline our platforms.  

This opportunity is on a 3-month fixed term (with potential to extend up to 6-months), 20 - 30 hours a week, reporting directly to the Health & Safety Lead. 

About the role 

• Updating and data cleansing current Health and Safety Systems and overall Employee experience via documentation, MS SharePoint and other collateral.  


• Day-to-day administration and optimisation of Assure (Evotix) in collaboration with the Health & Safety Lead and People & Operations Specialist.  


• Review, update and maintain current Health and Safety onboarding modules in Comvita’s learning management system, MyLearning.   


• Review, update and maintain current Contractor Health & Safety induction modules in Mocka.   


• Support wellbeing governance through monitoring and reporting on the implementation and engagement of the Telus EAP program.  

Role requirements  

• Previous H&S Software Experience is required, and experience with Assure (Evotix) would be beneficial. 


• Highly confident with Microsoft Suite including Excel, Sharepoint and OneDrive 


• Solid understanding of Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and hazardous substances requirements is important.
