Job Description - IT Support Engineer

The Role


As our IT Support Engineer, you’ll be the go‑to problem solver, keeping our systems running and our people productive. Your day will be a mix of hands‑on support, setting up users and devices, troubleshooting hardware and software issues and responding to cybersecurity alerts.


We're looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to hit the ground running in this 12-month fixed-term position. 


Responsibilities



  • Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support (remote and on-site), escalating issues internally or to third-party vendors where appropriate

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices

  • Manage and administer user accounts within Active Directory and Microsoft 365.

  • Provide support for Dynamics AX (Legacy ERP system)

  • Contribute to project-based work such as ERP rollout, Microsoft Tenant migrations, Intune Rollout


About You



  • 2+ years of proven experience within a similar IT support role

  • Solid experience across Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and the full Microsoft 365 ecosystem

  • Strong troubleshooting skills with hands‑on support experience across hardware, software, networking and security tools (Aruba, Instant On, FortiGate, CrowdStrike)

  • A proactive learner with a high attention to detail, and a passion for improving systems and processes

  • A friendly, reliable team player with professionalism, integrity, and flexibility to support the occasional after-hours work

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
