Apollo Projects is a leading national Design and Construction company that specialises in sports & aquatics, food & beverage and manufacturing construction projects.  Not only is our team dedicated to ensuring we deliver great design and build projects for our clients, but we also nurture and preserve our strong relationships with our clients, colleagues and local communities. With our current Business Support Manager heading away on Parental leave in a few months' time, we're looking for an experienced people leader to support our Ōtautahi, Christchurch office and the wider business until November 2026.

About the Role:

Based in Ōtautahi, Christchurch, you will be actively involved in managing essential business support functions ensuring they run smoothly nationwide.  Responsibilities include…

• Inspire and mentor the Business Support team, setting the team up for success!


• Champion the organisation of our company-wide events and provide support to client engagement events.


• Enhance intranet communication and provide top-notch administrative support.


• Lead our Toitū audits and investigate and rollout new sustainability initiatives alongside key team members.


• Lead our key account management relationships


• Proactively oversee travel and fleet management.


• Anything else that may be thrown at you on any given day!

About You:

You will be an innovative and community-driven individual that leads with passions and naturally builds relationships with both internal and externals alike!  In addition to this, you will have the following attributes:

• At least 5+ years’ experience in an Admin Manager or similar role, with strong Executive Assistant experience


• Strong time management and multi-tasking skills


• Confidence in managing ambiguity, change, and fast-paced environments.


• Proven and extensive administration skills, with advanced experience in using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint – including document formatting, template & presentation production


• Strong communication skills, both written and oral


• A true self-starter, filled with self-motivation & goal-driven mindset
