About Us:

Juken New Zealand Ltd (JNL) is an international forest and wood products company operating in local and global timber markets.  JNL owns three wood processing plants in the North Island, and forests in the Wairarapa and East Coast regions.  We work closely with our parent company in Japan – WoodOne.

JNL specializes in producing a diverse range of high-quality engineered wood products, including Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL), panels, and solid wood products for both structural and non-structural applications. Committed to sustainability, JNL sources timber from certified forests managed under internationally recognized environmental standards such as FSC and ISO.

The Role:

This is a full-time fixed term role for 6 months, based in Auckland with frequent travel required to our sites across NZ. This is to support our GM of People & Culture.

Responsibilities include leading organisational change initiatives, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in organisational change management.


• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, HR compliance, and policy implementation


• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities


• Relevant qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline


• Prior experience in senior HR or People and Culture roles, particularly within manufacturing or similar industries and unions
