About the Role

We are looking for a driven and motivated insurance professional to join our team in a role where you will focus on managing a portfolio of local government clients. Whilst you will be picking up an established client base, you will also need to be proactive self-starter comfortable with generating new business, and building and maintaining trusted relationships.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Managing client servicing requirements
• Identifying opportunities for growth both within your existing client base and new business
• Providing professional, accurate and efficient responses to client needs through liaison with external stakeholders
• Preparing proposals for new business opportunities
• Coordinating client renewals and preparing premium calculations

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Proven experience in insurance broking
• The ability to deliver high standards of quality client services
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in local government is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities
• Competency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
