The Company

My client is one of the largest professional services firms operating all over the world. They work with other business all around New Zealand providing them with a host of services. They are currently on the lookout for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join the wider finance team on a 3-month contract with the potential to go permanent. This is an office-based role located close to public transport links.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for full function accounts receivable. Operating in this fast-paced environment where you will be a key player, you will have the opportunity to make this role your own.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Generating and sending invoices and ensuring information provided is accurate.
• Daily bank reconciliations and allocations of payments.
• A limited amount of credit control while ensuring to maintain the overall relationship with clients.
• Any addition adjustments or ad-hoc duties associated with the accounts receivable function.
• Managing queries both internally and externally.
• Ad-hoc tasks

Skills & Experience

We are on the lookout for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer who has proven experience in a full function Accounts Receivable position, you will have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills as you will be building reports with stakeholders both internally and externally. You will be flexible and have the ability to hit the ground running.
