Job Description - Assistant Accountant

As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a crucial role in providing efficient, timely, and accurate reporting.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant, with exposure to payroll.



Responsibilities:

  • Creditors, debtors, and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Staff expense claims.
  • Able to hit the ground running.
  • Comfortable with tight deadlines.
  • Preforming tasks under payroll, procurement, A/P & A/R


Qualifications and Skills:
  • 2 years New Zealand payroll experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and tools.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.

WFH: 2 days per week.
Wellington CBD
6-month fixed term 61,734 - 77,168.
