Founded in Auckland more than 10 years ago, they have established their offices in Wellington, Christchurch, Queenstown and now are moving to Tauranga!

Your new role

The role is open to either an Intermediate or Senior Quantity Surveyor. You will be responsible for managing all costs associated with assigned projects, from the agreed feasibility budget through to the final account settlement. Ideally, you will have experience managing projects from $500k to $30mil and have a thorough understanding of the New Zealand construction methods, commercial contract law, drafting agreements, assessing payment claims and variations. For a more senior candidate, you will also oversee the project team and junior QS' to achieve financial deliverables and outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed

• Relevant Tertiary Qualifications- preferably BSc Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
• Minimum of three years experience in commercial construction as a quantity surveyor
• CostX and/or Procore experience is advantageous
• Valid work rights in New Zealand is a must
