Job Description:
As an Accounts Payable Associate at Goldman Sachs Group in Napier, Hawke's Bay, NZ, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's accounts payable processes. You will work closely with vendors, internal stakeholders, and team members to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities: - Process invoices and expense reports in a timely manner - Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve any discrepancies - Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment inquiries - Assist in month-end close activities and reporting - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures - Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices - Assist with ad hoc projects and tasks as needed
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or related finance roles - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Passionate and hardworking attitude - Strong cooperation and decision-making skills
