Our close-knit team of proactive sales experts consistently goes above and beyond to secure repeat business and discover new opportunities. We are currently seeking a Business Development Executive with strong estimating and QS skills to join our New Zealand sales team. Role Overview:
As the Business Development Executive, you will establish robust relationships and partnerships with potential clients. Your primary objective will be to drive business growth and meet revenue targets through strategic promotion and sales efforts. This position is particularly suited for students or graduates in Architecture, Construction, or Marketing who possess excellent communication skills and an outgoing personality. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage new business relationships with consultants and professionals in the filed of building and construction, developers, investors etc
  • Identify new business opportunities, conduct sales calls, deliver presentations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Measurement and quantifying construction materials and labour 
  • Conducting cost analysis and market research to inform budgeting and procurement decisions
  • Maintaining accurate records of costs, budgets, and financial reports to support project planning and financial auditing
Candidate Requirements:
  • Legal work rights in New Zealand.
  • Previous experience in  Business Development and Estimation
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) is a must
  • Proven experience in sales negotiation, cold calling, and deal closure.
  • Confidence in speaking, presenting to clients, and conducting in-person marketing.
  • Strong administrative skills, including report writing and sales pipeline management.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and focused on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of the building industry, real estate, and finance.
  • Understanding building materials, construction methods and technology
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical construction drawings, as well as quantify building materials and labour.
