About Us:
ETEL is embarking on a significant strategic project focusing on revolutionising our inventory management systems. From demand forecasting to dispatch, our aim is to elevate our systems to world-class standards, enhancing efficiency and optimising stock levels. This project is anticipated to span between 1 to 2 years.

The Position:
As a crucial member of the Inventory Management strategic project team, the Commercial Analyst will play a pivotal role in evaluating and improving inventory systems. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will collaborate closely with various internal stakeholders and external partners, including Epicor, to drive enhancements across our inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain KPI reporting for the project, ensuring the team is regularly updated on progress.
• Collaborate with sales staff to improve sales forecast accuracy, providing valuable insights to enhance inventory planning.

• Work with the project team and stakeholders to review and implement improved systems for inventory management, spanning from Sales & Operations Planning through to managing raw materials, work in progress (WIP), and finished goods.
• Partner with operations and supply chain teams to optimise Epicor bills of materials (BoM) and minimise variances, ensuring efficient inventory management.
• Analyse inventory systems to accurately report forecasted inventory levels and assess cash flow requirements.
• Investigate stock variances and MRP suggestions to enhance system efficiency, providing clear explanations for discrepancies.
• Identify and implement appropriate internal controls around inventory management to mitigate risks.
• Document inventory systems meticulously for future reference and transparency.
• Conduct inventory reconciliations and support efforts to improve stock counting accuracy.
• Familiarise yourself with the new version of Epicor, Kinetic, and explore opportunities for enhancing inventory management, collaborating closely with the project team to realise these benefits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in commercial analysis or inventory management roles, with a strong understanding of financial and operational principles.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Epicor, is highly desirable.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and documentation.
• Strong project management skills, capable of meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
