We have an exciting opportunity for a Control Room Operator with technical experience to join our Armourguard team in Central Auckland location. About the role Being in a corporate setting, you will have daily interactions with all levels of staff, receiving phone calls, and monitoring of alarm activations. The focus of the role is to ensure the safety and security of all staff, customers, and stakeholder assets. So being able to remain calm if everything happens at once is certainly a skill that comes with life experience. Excellent command of the English language, spoken clearly, written, and comprehension of a discussion is of importance for this role. As a minimum these will include: Drivers Licence, Credit, Ministry of Justice Criminal History Checks * Legally entitled to work in New Zealand * A glass half full positive attitude * 5-10 years spent living in New Zealand * Know your New Zealand geography as you will field enquiries from all over New Zealand * Display a high level of professionalism and personal presentation * Can receive concise communication * Have a current COA * Proficient in Closed Circuit Television Operation (CCTV) * Excellent command of the English Language spoken, written and comprehension Our Ideal Candidate: * Be customer focused with the ability to deal with situations and people * Be prepared to work rostered hours in recognition of the company being a 24/7 operation incl day and night shifts * Must meet the company operating procedures and Health & Safety regulations * Have confidence and maturity to dispatch security officer and liaise with emergency services when required * Must be comfortable using a computer and software applications * Previous experience of monitoring software would be a real advantage * Training period will be approximately 4 weeks day shifts and night shifts Please submit your CV & Cover Letter to Juliana Walsh on
