Job Description - Customer Operations Administrator

    About the role:

    We’re looking for passionate people to join our Retail Operations Team. You will be customer focused and thrive in being part of a fast-paced environment. Your ability to navigate multiple screens whilst dealing with customer queries will assist you in getting to the bottom of even the toughest customer query. You will have the aptitude to build relationships quickly, applying patience and empathy, whilst working hard to meet our customer’s needs, ensuring every interraction matters.

    This position offers the opportunity for future progression within our teams at Genesis Energy. This is your chance to get your foot in the door with one of New Zealand’s largest energy suppliers who has a strong future focus on community and sustainability.

    The hours are between 8am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday

    We have great teams’ leaders who build a fun and caring environment which encourages team collaboration and support. This role is based in our Hamilton office. Once training is complete, and you are able to demonstrate your abilities, there are opportunities available for hybrid working.

    Ideally you will have:

    • Prior experience working in a customer service / adminstration role would be ideal!
    • Reliability and a passion for the work you do.
    • Strong ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
    • Positive and energetic phone skills, and excellent active listening abilities.
    • The ability to empathise with the customer to problem solve, providing the best possible resolution for the customer.
