As Stantec continues to grow, we are now looking for a Desktop Support Analyst who will be responsible for supporting daily operations, which encompasses Windows Server services, enterprise applications, desktop and mobile services.
Your key accountabilities will include:
Provide user-facing operational support for desktops and applications.
Resolve tickets within agreed timeframe.
Conduct Queue Management activities as well as proactive maintenance and administration of designated services.
Test and deploy software updates and security patches to servers and workstations.
Support corporate policies, procedures, and best practices pertinent to supporting Stantec’s Infrastructure
Participate in IT projects as an operational resource, providing recommendations and performing tasks as required.
Work after office hours as required and be able to travel across offices.

Qualifications
About you | E pā ana ki a koe
You may have recently completed Tertiary or industry qualifications in Information Technology (or equivalent), with some experience of working in an IT environment and software management (required) as well as:
Intermediate level of knowledge of:
Microsoft operating systems ( Windows 7, 8,10)
Imaging, configuring desktop and troubleshooting hardware issues
Office 365 support
ITIL Service Management best practices
Basic understanding of:
Microsoft server operating systems
Office 365
Network principles technologies and services
Backup concepts, software/hardware technologies
To be eligible for this role you must be a permanent resident or NZ citizen. You must have a valid driver’s license and passport as travel will be required, including some international.
You will be naturally curious, passionate about process improvement and able to work with minimal supervision within a geographically-dispersed team. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills, a ‘customer-orientated’ approach and with a can-do attitude when faced with business challenges.
