• A strong understanding of, and commitment to, the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equity as fundamental aspects of the health system.
• Significant senior managerial/clinical/operational leadership experience with the ability to think strategically.
• Proven experience in midwifery  leadership and driving transformation while upholding patient safety and maintaining high quality of care.
• A commitment to embodying our organization's values and inspiring others to do the same, fostering a collaborative approach to leadership throughout the health system.
• Active member of the NZ College of Midwives.
