The opportunity

We are looking to replace a Graduate Civil Engineer in our Water team. Our Water team provides vital support to major projects as well as expert services directly to clients. Based in our Hastings office, your key responsibilities will include assistance in the delivery of projects including the following:

• Carry out site investigations and feasibility studies for proposed projects.

• Produce calculations, specifications and drawings to ensure that technical designs provide appropriate solutions.

• Support specific projects by assisting with planning, co-ordination and report writing.

• Assist with project communications and develop ongoing contacts with clients as required.

• Prepare tender documents, assist in the evaluation of tenders and construction monitoring/administration of contracts.

Qualifications

About you

You will be looking for a challenging role in your field of civil engineering with a keen interest in the 3 waters industry. 1-2 years of experience would be ideal but not necessary but having taken an internship with an engineering consultancy during your studies is an advantage and some Design skills would be a bonus. You’ll also have a willingness to learn and develop your skills quickly.
