HOOP is looking for full time Logistician for a 15 month period, starting in August to cover for our Head of Logistics whilst on maternity leave.
The qualified applicant is required to ensure the smooth running of the day to day management of warehouse activity, client relationships, reporting and other information to retain and grow business. To ensure the dispatch team are briefed in full and on time in order to deliver warehousing distribution services to both the contracted and internal standards of Hoop Limited.
The role includes
- Client and financial reporting, budget maintenance and the achievement of sales and profitability targets. Strategic planning and new business submissions and client relationship management forms a key part of this role.
- Supporting the Distribution team with end-to-end management of all Hoop Warehousing activity and its clients stock, POS, hardware and event items. In building relationships with external and internal clients and customers, to integrate new business into existing operations, follow specific standard operating procedures and internal processes to retain and grow business on behalf of Hoop Limited.
- Managing Hoop Limited’s Warehouse Manager, Customer Service Executive(s) and Account Manager to ensure all distribution support, warehouse functions and administration functions are completed, ensuring deadlines are met and standards upheld.
Essential requirements:
· Previous experience in a similar role where an ability to complete all tasks to a high level has been demonstrated.
· Proven willingness to complete all tasks including staff management and client contact.
· Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint to Intermediate level
· Clean and current drivers licence and own car
· NZ Resident
Preferred Requirements:
· FMCG Industry experience
· Tertiary Qualified
