One of your primary responsibilities will be to interpret immigration legislation and to make quality immigration decisions using your proven analytical, judgement, and well-developed decision-making abilities. Your assessments will result in sound decisions that make a positive impact and benefit our people and communities here in Aotearoa. As an Immigration Officer, you will be working in a high-volume environment. Experience advantageous to this role includes strong organisational skills and time-management; a strong customer background; and the ability to be decisive, sometimes in the absence of complete information. You will be joining an innovative and collegial team in our central Christchurch office. This can be a rapidly changing environment, with opportunities to develop your analytical and administration skills. Your strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish a positive and consultative working relationship with stakeholders will be one of the key successes to this role. Why work for us?
