The role
This is a varied and busy role helping people to remain in their homes as long as possible across the Southern health region. We are looking for a person with strong organisational and interpersonal skills to work closely with clients and whānau supporting them to utilise their individualised funding package from Te Whatu Ora.
This role involves working alongside clients and whānau to navigate their options for self-directed care. You will be giving them the tools and direction to confidently choose how and when they receive care and by whom. This will involve assisting them with recruitment, human resources, health and safety, payroll, and managing their funding budget.
This role will involve travel within Otago and Southland.
Hours: Permanent Part Time – 20 hours per week; Flexibility with location (within Otago/Southland) and hours worked
