INTEGRATION DEVELOPER

Right now, we are looking for an Integration Developer to join our company in a permanent role based in our central Christchurch offices.

The Integration Developer is responsible for the technical build of APIs, Microservices and the maintenance of the interface specification.

Your role will be to develop APIs to meet consumer and Integration Product Owner needs and deploying/publishing APIs and Microservices to API Platform. You will need to collaborate with the Product Owner and Integration Architect/API Designer to priorities, design, develop and support APIs.

Key to this role will be Implementing security and protection measures recommended by the Integration Product owner and Security Officer and you will need to understand the integration product roadmap.

Your role will be to define API access and information flow in conjunction with Product Owner and Architect.

The Integration Developer reports to the Integration Product Owner and work in the Integration Product team.

Skills and Experience:

Alongside your willingness to learn and grow, your drive and enthusiasm and your subject matter expertise, it would be advantageous for you to have the following experience to be successful in this role:

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or a related discipline
• Professional technical certification/qualifications to work as .NET developer

Experience

• Have 5 + years of experience as a Software Developer
• Experience with .NET Core
• Relevant experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD toolchain.
• Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• A technical background, ideally with knowledge of Azure API Management and Cloud architecture
• Experience with complex Software as a Service systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP ERP) would be advantageous.
• Have experience with performing support and administrative tasks within Azure or other cloud infrastructure technologies
• Experience using REST APIs, message queues (rabbit MQ)
