About the opportunity The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users within the organisation. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the smooth operation of computer systems, software, and hardware, and to address any issues or concerns raised. In doing so the IT Support Engineer will: • Work under the guidance of senior IT personnel to deliver effective and timely support services. • Provide technical assistance to end-users through various channels. • Assist in managing and tracking IT assets, including computers, peripherals, software licenses, and equipment inventory. Help maintain accurate records of hardware and software deployments. • Collaborate with the IT team to address complex technical issues and contribute to the continuous improvement of IT infrastructure and services. • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, including operating systems, software applications, and peripheral devices. Perform routine system updates and ensure security protocols are up to date. Are you ready to take on this pivotal new role in an organisation that’s growing at pace? About you To be successful in this role you will be an exceptional communicator with a focus on service provision, you will understand the importance of delivering solutions that are tailored specifically to the business needs of your internal customers and the business as a whole. We are looking for someone who is motivated and a technically proficient trouble-shooter that has a high level of customer service with 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role. You will have a strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
