Job Description

To carry out routine mechanical maintenance of the process plant and the entire site equipment to the required standards of performance and safety.

• Scope tasks in full to allow the Maintenance Daily Planner to accurately plan the work
• Available for standby as rostered and as required during plant breakdowns and shutdowns.
• Work with Operations personnel in making minor repairs and eliminate duplication of shift inspections and Preventative Maintenance inspections
• Ensures that the workshop and yard are kept tidy and the plant site is left tidy after maintenance work is carried out.
• Ensuring all work is undertaken to the highest standards of health & safety.

Qualifications

• First Aid Certificate
• Formal trade qualification as a Fitter/Turner, Fitter/Welder or equivalent experience is preferred
• Full and Current Driver Licence, ability to drive manual vehicles is preferred.
