Who are the Bidfood Exclusive Brands team?

We develop, market and manage thousands of products and over 50 brands exclusive to Bidfood.

What will you do?

Along with the Sales & Marketing Manager, you will drive promotional and marketing activity that supports sales goals and forecasts. You will be involved in both commercial and creative aspects of the business of the end-to-end processes including new product launches, promotional and launch tracking and analysis, creating content as well as writing creative briefs to meet objectives.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

Promotions – Execution & Tracking

• Liaising with branches to book promotional activity
• Developing creative briefs for the graphic designer using product, brand and sales information
• Tracking and analysis - identifying areas of concern and opportunities, communicating with wider stakeholders and driving actions.

Marketing Content

• Supporting sales teams and stakeholders with marketing content (image requests, digital asset adaptations either through the graphic designer or via Canva)
• Auditing content on sales platform to ensure accuracy and up to date
• Ensuring availability of relevant and new content for the wider business to use

Email Marketing

• Initiating and executing emails to achieve objectives
• Working with data analyst to target specific customer groups and measure results
• Optimise emails using data to improve ROI

Social Media & Collaborations

• Working with the team to create content and optimise based on analytics
• Identify trends, monitoring brands in the industry
• Reaching out to targeted customers to collaborate

You will also support tradeshow planning and execution, and support the team with administrative tasks as needed.

About you:

You are proactive, a fast-learner and enjoy working across a mix of projects. You enjoy both creative work as well as looking at data and insights and can connect the dots to achieve wider business goals. Preferably you have:

• 2-3 years of experience in a marketing role
• Tertiary education in marketing, business or similar
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple task streams 
• Great Communication skills and are not afraid to ask for help
• A proactive, with a can-do attitude
• Email marketing and social media marketing experience
• Experience using Canva or similar tools
