About the role

The Operations Delivery Lead is a critical role to the success of our NZ Operations team at Catalyst.  

The role is responsible for planning, leading, and organizing the Operations team BAU work streams.  You will work with colleagues on the Ops Leadership Team, especially the Operations Manager and Operations Project Manager, to ensure that the team has a clear understanding of the work in our pipeline and the support to deliver it, and that the rest of the business has clarity about the delivery of that work.

The key tasks involved are:

• Managing the Kanban boards we use to track our work, and ensuring we have adequate resourcing across the different boards to deliver to our program of work.
  
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to prioritise work in the pipeline, develop forward planning for our rostering, and identify and escalate bottlenecks or issues.  
  
• Developing and maintaining high quality reporting about the work program, the state of the pipeline, and performance of individual assignments where applicable
  
• Effectively running meetings and stand ups for a large remote team.
  
• Maximising the autonomy of team members, while providing direction where needed.

About you

You are an organised and proactive professional with a background in systems administration. You excel at coordinating tasks, providing administrative support, and resolving issues efficiently. Your strong communication skills help you work well with both technical and non-technical teams. You are dedicated to improving processes and enhancing team productivity.

You’ll be someone who is able to listen carefully and translate requirements into plans. You naturally work well with people. Creating a positive and inclusive team environment is important to you.
