Te Papa's leaders and kaimahi are ably supported by the People, Safety and Culture team who work in partnership with all directorates to develop initiatives ad resolve business issues in relation to Te Papa's people, culture and HR practices. The range of tō tīma, our teams, is diverse from those people who are renown specialists in their fields, to those managing specialist art and historical collections, to creative and interactive exhibition building, to event management and front of house mahi. It takes collaborative and innovative frameworks, products and services to support all of this important mahi on behalf of the people of Aotearoa.
Our team is transforming and we have a need for someone with experience providing HR administrative, coordination and advisory support. As the first point of contact for leaders and kaimahi with queries, you will be providing support for end to end recruitment, learning and development, payroll, annualised processes and returns, and HR processes. You will have exposure to all aspects of people practices including payroll, advisory, health and safety, and organisational development. This gives you the opportunity to further develop broad and generalist HR skills, capabilities and experience.
We are looking for your knowledge,and two or more years' experience in the following:

The starting salary for this position is between $79,300 to $94,100 pa with further room for progression through the band. Offers will be made within the range to reflect the skills and experience offered by the candidate and those required of the role, and internal relativities with other employees.
