He angitūtanga: The opportunityYou’ll have the opportunity to use your solid organisational skills to provide efficient administration support, ensuring the smooth running of our Auckland Council’s Licensing and Regulatory Compliance (LnR)  service delivery process so that all databases/systems are accurately maintained and up to date, supporting all key processes to enable registration and licensing applications including financial processes such as invoicing, working with various stakeholders and key accounts and qualified partners. These can include public enquiries via face-to-face contact and phone calls while maintaining a high level of service to internal and external customers.He kōrero mōu: About youIdeally, you will have experience in a regulatory environment but more so your outstanding ability to handle high volumes and passion for learning a variety of roles that fall within this team.  You will be a top-notch administrator who is system savvy, competent in the use of MS Office applications, and can easily adapt to new systems.  You will have worked within a busy professional environment and easily build excellent working relationships.  Your proactive nature along with your great attention to detail will make you perfect for this role.Ngā āhuatanga kei a mātou: What we offerLnR provides compliance services for the directorate, administering the rules and bylaws that promote public health and protect Aucklanders from nuisance and harm, to ensure Auckland is a safe and healthy city, a great place to live, work, and play, with an outstanding environment for now and future generations.It is the largest local government compliance operation in Australasia and deals with a substantial proportion of the requests for service received by the Council. Compliance activities are delivered through both planned, scheduled activities and unplanned responsive requests for service. With a thirst for learning, you’ll continually grow your knowledge with our in-depth training and exposure to various facets of Licensing and Regulatory Compliance.This is a full-time, permanent opportunity based in North Auckland or Flexible working, working 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday – no weekends!).
