Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
As Digital Library Specialist in the Content Discovery and Innovation team, you will provide specialist skills to ensure that library collections application software delivers a customer-focused experience. In this role, you will be responsible for the administrative configuration and Tier 2/3 customer support of Library collections application software, assist in the evaluation, testing and communication of new product features and improvements. You will participate in projects to review and redesign business processes related to the use of library collections application software.
Library collection application software include: Integrated library management system (Alma), Discovery layer (Primo), Reading list (Talis), Institutional repository (DSpace), Archives management systems (ArchiveSpace & Vernon), Interlibrary loan and Acquisition platforms, Access and authentication (EZproxy).
This is a full-time, 37.5 hours per week role, on a permanent contract. The salary range for this role is $80,900 - $99,900 per annum depending on experience and

You will hava a degree and/or postgraduate qualification in information management, information science or equivalent, or the equivalent knowledge, skills and understanding gained through extensive work-related experience.
