Job Description - Recruitment Coordinator



Due to an internal secondment we have an 12-month fixed term opportunity support our Academic Executive Search Service in the Talent and Recruitment Team.

We are seeking a highly organised professional to join our well established in-house recruitment team. You will primarily be supporting the Academic Executive Search Service in their global executive search projects to identify and attract the very best, senior academics and professional staff to the University of Auckland. You will also provide support, when possible, to the wider recruitment team.

You will have excellent digital capability including advanced Microsoft Office skills. Confidence across a range of software packages would be desirable, but we can provide a wide range of training and development opportunities. You will be involved in a range of administration activities including diary management, organising meetings with multiple internal clients, booking travel, responding to candidates, and managing candidate application processes and preparing supporting documentation.

You will be curious, assisting with international candidate sourcing and supported to develop your own knowledge of the tertiary sector and executive level recruitment. You will have strong attention to detail and be skilled at multi-tasking!

You will enjoy building strong relationships and being involved in multiple projects, working with experienced search and senior recruitment consultants, across a range of academic disciplines and senior appointments. Familiarity with the tertiary environment is preferred; as is experience of using recruitment/CRM databases. Above all, you will be self-motivated, curious, willing to learn and develop in the role.

This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week), Fixed Term Position, covering a staff member on secondment for up to a 12 month period.

This is a salary band E for the University of Auckland. Salary range being $58,300 pa to $72,700 pa depending on experience and
