Campus Life is a Service Division that supports an engaging and inclusive campus experience for students at The University of Auckland. Campus Life operates a range of ‘wellbeing services’, such as Accommodation, Counselling and Health Services, that are aimed at removing personal barriers to academic success. It also operates ‘engagement’ services such as support for student organisations, social and sporting events, volunteering and leadership support that are aimed at helping students to maximise the non-classroom dimensions of the university experience.
Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
We are looking for a passionate and capable professional who can support the development of a community that is safe, comfortable, supportive, conducive to academic success, and responsive to the needs of students living on campus.
Kairuruku Wharenoho / Resident Coordinators have two key areas of responsibility. The first is to support the Resident Manager(s) in providing an enabling environment that supports the emotional, physical, and academic well-being of all students in our residences. Second, is to provide administrative support and front-line customer service to residents and other tasks as need. The Resident Coordinator will also be required to be on emergency call for a selection of communities on a rotation basis with other senior staff.
We are looking for a Resident Coordinator that will support our undergraduate and postgraduate students living in our UniLodges properties
This is a fulltime (37.5 hours per week), permanent position.
Remuneration is $58,300 - $72,700 depending on skills and experience. Resident Coordinators work Tuesday to Saturday, 2:30pm – 10:30pm during the academic year, with the opportunity for flexible hours in the summer months. Our successful candidate will be able to start work immediately .
