Link4 is a well known e-invoicing company that is seeking a Wellington based BDM.
The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with organizations to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. You should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales of e-invoicing services to central government departments, along with medium and large enterprises, local governments, and universities.
You will be responsible for lead generation and lead qualification activities but you may have support from other team members at times.
You will generate new leads from your contacts and through consultative conversations.
This is a largely autonomous role where you will be provided with the necessary tools of the trade, training, and support from the Link4 team.
The Role
● Mix of cold and warm outbound calls
● Booking appointments to meet face-to-face where possible
● Full sales cycle from initial call through to closing the deal
● Demonstrations of the solution and key features
● Responding to tenders
● Sales reporting to management
● All administration in relation to the role
What we’re looking for:
● High-level communication skills (written and verbal)
● Demonstrated experience in a B2B SaaS sales-related role
● Understanding of the procurement process for Central Government is highly regarded
● Previous experience within the finance or accounting sector is highly regarded
● Strong personal presentation skills
● Ability to work autonomously
● Strong understanding of AP and AR
● Understanding of e-invoicing is highly regarded
● Consultative sales approach
● Strong listening and problem-solving skills
● Self-motivated, driven and a self-starter
● Ability to engage at C Level
