We are hiring for Day Shift Packhouse staff for the 2024 Japan Programme in General Packhouse and Grader roles starting in May. 

We are expecting this programme to go through until early November (approx. 6 months).

Our Day Shift hours are 6.00 am – 4.30pm and operate from Monday-Friday (5 days per week).

Our Japan Programme will run from a 3rd party location in the Whakatu area of Hastings.

Our packhouse roles can be physical and require great attention to detail, you need to be able to:

· Handle boxes up to 15kg in weight

· Be able to stand for a 10-hour shift in a cooler environment

· Be comfortable to rotate to different packhouse tasks as requested

· Have great communication and a great attitude!

What Rocks You

We are looking for people who:

· Have previous packhouse experience (preferred) 

· Can stand on your feet on a concrete floor for 10-hour shifts (with breaks of course!)

· Have great English literacy to read and interpret instructions

· Pride themselves on being reliable and arriving to work on time

· Have great transport to safely get them to and from our Te Ipu site

· Love apples and will protect them from harm through great hygiene and handling
