Systems Engineers - Level

AssessHR has clients seeking Level 2, experienced Systems Engineers based in Tauranga.

As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, testing, supporting, maintaining, monitoring, and managing IT and other services, including email, public & private cloud hosting, backup, server & network implementation & support, web hosting, security, operating systems, application software, and system management tools.

While focused specifically on Microsoft's 365 platform, you will also be required to have skills in on-premises and hybrid environments. The ability to be flexible, take a big-picture view, and remain calm under pressure are key character traits required for these roles.

Experience and possessing the ability to meet with clients, understand their environment/infrastructure, and identify new opportunities to enhance their business is highly desirable.

We require people with key skills & experience including:

• At least 3 year's of hands-on experience working in IT across the Microsoft 365 suite, Sharepoint, Teams, and PowerApps.
• Proven experience in Active Directory and Group Policy
• Designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft Azure IaaS solutions.
• Microsoft Qualifications include M365, SharePoint, and Azure would be advantageous.
• Installation, configuration & management of Windows server & desktop operating systems, including virtualization & other roles.
• Installation, configuration & management of network infrastructure, firewalls, & Wi-Fi.
• The ability to manage backup and disaster recovery services.
