About the role Aimex are experiencing continued growth and are on a transformational journey led by our new Chief Executive Officer. We are looking to take our Health & Safety journey to the next level as we realign and strengthen our organisation and we are seeking an enthusiastic Training and Compliance Coordinator to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring workplace safety and fostering a culture of learning and development. Reporting to the new Group HSEQ Manager, this is a crucial role by providing administrative, coordination and transactional support for the H&S and compliance training requirements of the whole of the Aimex group. This will include: • Supporting the compliance training programme by co-ordinating training activities, organising logistics relating to training and management of internal and external provider relationships • Complete regular training needs analyses to identify compliance training requirements and align to training offerings to ensure remain fit for purpose • Support the development of interactive and engaging internal training workshops and educational materials covering topics such as safety alerts and job-specific skills • Support the development of H&S policies, procedures and initiatives to ensure compliance, regulatory requirements and industry standards. Document processes and create new documentation and manuals as required. • Supporting the ongoing implementation of the Mango software system, to provide streamlined reporting and evidence capture. Ensure all records are maintained for internal and external audits. • Working with key stakeholders to develop timely risk-based training compliance reporting and drive training actions to reduce any identified risk to maintaining operational and safety compliance About you: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven record of success in a customer focused role and be able to demonstrate the ability to plan and manage multiple activities. The ability to work under pressure will be key to your success, as well as the ability to develop strong internal and external relationships. Education & experience: • Working knowledge of compliance training/learning within an organisation • Relevant tertiary qualification or active interest to work towards achieving qualification • A demonstrated can-do attitude, and the desire to focus on problem-solving and working through ways to make training solutions effective. • Excellent communication skills to engage at all levels of our diverse teams; • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks • Sound administration skills and high attention to detail. • High level computer literacy and experience working with software systems and data, with an analytical mindset. Some flexibility is required to liaise with training providers prior to training courses commencing therefore early starts are occasionally needed.
