Warehouse Storeperson

About the role: To efficiently support the functioning of stores and warehouses. Receiving stock and finished products from Suppliers and Production, recording transactions in the inventory management system and either relocating into stores, issuing and delivering to Production, or preparing for shipment to Customers within specified timeframes. Support the management of the housekeeping of the stores and warehouse areas ensuring equipment and material storage is clean and complies with all health and safety regulations and procedures. Organize inventory so it is easily accessible and safe for those working in the storage area. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of inward and outward goods efficiently and accurately.
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products.
• Prepare and pack orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain inventory levels and conduct regular stocktakes.
• Operate forklift equipment safely and proficiently (F endorsement and OSH certificate required).
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry and documentation.

Must have:

• Full Class 1 licence and Forklift (counterbalance)
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission truck
• Proven experience in a similar warehouse or logistics role
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in using inventory management software
• Ability to work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Eligibility to work in NZ
