We are now welcoming applications from Civil Engineering students to join our summer internship programme. Based at either our Hamilton or Christchurch location, you will participate in a comprehensive and well-established 10-week internship placement. Benefiting from our experience and receiving support from our leadership team, this position offers an opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a practical setting, engage in hands-on tasks and contribute to various stages of civil engineering projects. As a Schick Intern you will:

• Experience a structured internship with rotations through different business units
• Learn practical skills and gain an understanding of how engineering applies to civil construction
• Participate in career and industry focused training sessions
• Receive opportunities to gain industry certifications

You will:

• Be currently completing a degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Hold a restricted driver’s license as a minimum, full class 1 preferred
• Be available for full time work (6.30am to 5.30pm) including some Saturdays for the full summer internship programme
